This aerial map includes the entire Moscow area, taken during the winter month of February. Smaller cities and suburbs like Odintsovo, Lyubertsy, Khimki, and Mytishchi are also shown.
The native resolution of the satellite imagery is 1 px = about 15 meters, which is detailed enough to see large buildings, parks, neighborhoods, major streets, golf courses, and many other features of the city.
All three of Moscow's major airports can be found on the map: Domodedovo International Airport, Sheremetyevo International Airport, and Vnukovo International Airport.
In downtown Moscow, you'll find several large buildings and skyscrapers, including City of Capitals Moscow Tower, Naberzhnaya Tower, and Triumph-Palace.
You'll also find other iconic landmarks like Red Square, the Kremlin, Saint Basil's Cathedral, and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
Because the image was taken in winter, you'll find that much of the outside area is covered with snow. The interior of the city appears mostly brown and grey.
